Dalata Group has a portfolio of over 40 sites across Ireland and the UK, under the Maldron and Clayton brands. Each site utilises signage for: displaying schedules and welcome messaging in conference and meeting spaces; internal marketing, such as hotel promotions and special offers; and menu signage for their Red Bean Café brand.
When the Clayton branded ‘Cardiff Lane Hotel’ opened a new, state-of-the-art conference centre they added two large LED screens, in addition to regular signage. These video walls required visually striking custom content, consisting of client communications and marketing, presented in a highly functional way so that onsite teams could upload content and messaging themselves.
Due to the nature and visibility of the video walls we designed a hybrid solution, including a multizone layout for client messaging & marketing information and full-screen, ‘living canvas’ video zones to display high quality video at regular intervals, to use the screens to their full potential.
We designed and deployed multiple custom-screen layouts for the video walls and portrait scheduling screen running on the Onelan system. We designed branded templates for staff to create and upload their own communications quickly and easily. We trained staff in the use of the Onelan system for ad-hoc scheduling and content creation for site comms.
