Brief
Metro Solutions were tasked with supplying and installing building wide AV solutions to Penrose Dock’s new 250,000 sq ft development in the Cork Docklands. Our role was to design custom content solutions for 3 large LED wall. The client required content that would reflect the modern and technologically advanced nature of the development to be displayed using a Onelan Digital Signage solution.
Approach
Each video wall had different dimensions, and therefore resolutions, which added a level of complexity to the task. Our twin objectives were to make it easier for on-site staff to update the content, and to create a living canvas of digital art. Our final deployment was a custom hybrid solution, utilising traditional multi-zone layouts and full-screen content displayed at intervals, allowing staff to update screens easily with client comms all from the same source.
Result
Designed and deployed multiple custom screen layouts to three video walls running on a Onelan system. Designed branded templates for staff to create and upload their own communications quickly and easily. Expert system training was provided to staff on the use of the Onelan system as well as a content creation workshop to enable them create their own onscreen content.
