Women’s Museum

We were asked by The Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht, to design and commission an exhibition commemorating the lives of women who contributed to Irish history.

Emotion Media worked closely with the museum curator and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to design a range of multimedia and print content for use on large wall panels, touch screens and tablets encompassing the entire exhibition space.

“I would like to highlight in particular my appreciation of the flexibility, efficiency, resilience, dedication and unfailing courtesy of the design tea at every stage of the process and the professionalism, vision, calm and innovative approach taken by you and your colleagues to the design challenges arising throughout the project lifecycle to date”

Rónán Whelan, Assistant Principal, Commemorations Unit. Dept of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

We designed 122 individual modular panels, had 30+ facsimiles made of original documents too fragile or rare to display, 21 unique touch screen experiences, 16 motion graphics and video stories and a series of decade-by-decade videos in English and Irish for the virtual tour of the museum.
